Adriene Pratt

Intern Psychotherapist

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Adriene has over 15 years of experience in the field of education, working as a teacher and principal with neurodiverse teens and young adults. She understands the challenges many families face with learning struggles and uses this background to help clients achieve personal, academic, and professional goals. She also has experience supporting clients with body-focussed repetitive behaviours (BFRB)'s such as skin picking and trichotillomania.

Having lived overseas, unable to speak the language, Adriene understands the importance of connection and compassion. Her approach is grounded in humanistic principles, believing in every person’s capacity for growth and resilience. She believes that every individual inherently possesses the ability to positively change their lives. Adriene takes an integrational approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy. With a person-centred focus, Adriene tailors her methods to help clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals.

Adriene’s approach is warm, inclusive and goal oriented towards helping clients achieve their desired outcomes.
