
Nancy Rose Wambangwa
Nancy obtained her HBA at York University and her Master's degree at Yorkville University. She has experience in crisis and distress support and has great knowledge of critical incident interventions for those who have experienced traumatic events. Nancy also has experience working with children, youth and couples.
Nancy believes that mental wellness is the key to self-awareness and growth. She trusts that with a welcoming and encouraging environment, there is room for healing and goal achievement. Nancy’s approach to therapy incorporates different aspects to accommodate an individual’s personal journey. This includes a foundational client-centered view, CBT, solution-focused and a narrative approach.
Nancy’s experience has provided her with the tools to help develop and enhance self-management skills, coping mechanisms and resilience. Nancy believes that achieving self-care can contribute to everyone’s overall mental wellness.
